GENESEE COUNTY/Corfu Heart and Soul begin gathering input from the community for the future of the Village

Corfu Heart & Soul is engaging residents in shaping the future of the Village of Corfu, New York, through storytelling, community events, and resident-driven conversations. Now in Phase 2 of the Community Heart & Soul process, local volunteers are gathering input about what residents love most about Corfu, as well as their hopes and ideas for the community’s future. The stories and feedback collected will help identify shared values and priorities that can inform an action plan for the village. The initiative demonstrates how community engagement, local leadership, and a strong sense of place can help small towns turn resident voices into meaningful action and long-term community development.
