We’re collecting photos from Heart & Soul towns to help tell the stories of neighbors coming together to shape their future.
Community Heart & Soul® is offering an opportunity for towns across the country to share what community looks like in practice: neighbors connecting, local pride, traditions new and old–all to celebrate the moments that bring people together.
If you have images that reflect your community’s ‘Heart & Soul’ and the work residents are doing side-by-side, we’d love to see them!
What we hope you’ll share:
- Community events.
- Neighbors coming together to volunteer or celebrate.
- Community conversations and story gathering moments.
- Projects, traditions, and the gathering places where people connect.
- Scenes that demonstrate local pride.
- Everyday leadership: residents stepping up, helping out, and welcoming others.
If you’re unsure whether something “counts,” send it anyway! The simplest photos are often the most meaningful.
Easy Tips for Great Photos
- No need to be a professional photographer. Phone photos are perfect!
- Clear, bright images are preferred.
- Feel free to submit more than one – a handful from one or multiple events is always welcome.
When you submit, we’ll ask for a short description. A few sentences are plenty, just tell us what’s happening, where it was taken, and why this moment matters to your community.
