The Town of Walden is in Jackson County (known as “North Park”), a remote and breathtakingly beautiful valley surrounded by mountains on the Colorado/Wyoming border. The area has historically depended economically on its natural resources and is currently known for natural gas extraction, as well as for its world-class fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing. North Park Heart & Soul has engaged residents to work collectively to create a vision for Jackson County that ensures the Soul of the community thrives.
